Gluten Casein Free Diet
 
It isn’t always easy for celiacs to find foods that meet their needs.

We have all seen major issues with labeling in the past. These aren’t just labeling issues: they can be the difference between feeling sick or feeling great!

At Wellness Foods, two of our team members eat gluten-free, so these concerns are our concerns. After consulting a dietitian at the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University, we knew we had to improve our standards of testing. We still follow strict manufacturing practices and now test all our products using the most advanced means of assessment. All our products are certified by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO) and are manufactured in a gluten-free environment to prevent cross-contamination.

It should be noted that our facility also manufactures oats. Oats are naturally gluten-free. However, there is some concern whether the oats are grown in a field that at some point grew other gluten containing grains. Rest assured, our oats are tested for gluten as they arrive at our facility. At ‹5ppm of gluten, our delicious protein packed bars are both safe for our celiac consumers as well as an excellent source of nutrition.
