The biggest switch I have made is often the 'smallest' one that I can implement with ease, and do with consistency until I habituate it. I have sore knees, but make an effort to move or do something physical every day. I also set projects for myself, that are physical as well as productive. On the advice of my daughter who does Nutritional Consulting, I have implemented certain foods into my diet-as opposed to cutting some out. This has led me to decrease the amount of unhealthy, sugar filled foods I eat. I also have started to focus on nutrient rich food, and take Vit D and B's. My goal is to make a conscious effort to minimized processed foods and get more lean protein in. Luckily, I eat a Mediterranean diet, with a lot of vegetables, Omega 3 etc. I also find that reading books about different Countries helps manage my stress, as do after dinner walks. This has made me feel and THINK healthier.

I focus on enjoying the simple things in life, and substituting away from the more chemical/harmful/plastic etc products to healthy alternatives and substitutes. Focusing on what is the best for you, from a mental standpoint, is so empowering and makes you feel great! It doesn't take a lot of money, and yet makes you feel special (such as redecorating your home to look like a show home- makes it feel new!), or reading books about different cultures etc feels like a mini vacation and broadens your mind. I make it a point to go to the gym every morning so I feel rejuvenated and refreshed and start my day with a positive mindset.Realizing that we are all different, and focusing on what makes ME happy and feel great vs what "society' says SHOULD make me feel great. Getting in touch with who I am and honoring that.

Reading other guests comments is very motivating. My most recent simply switch is replacing dairy milk with almond milk, easy and tastes good.

Ive made a concerted effort to focus on my wellness and my outlook on life. The mental aspect is often overlooked. I busy myself with activities (painting, decorating & redesigning the inside of my house so it feels as special & comfortable to me as possible) & make it a habit to go out with friends for a laugh. I make sure to spend time alone with my husband- even if it's just watching old movies, or TV shows, & really appreciating the time we have together. We go for walks as much as we can, & just talk & get back to what is important to us. I find that the biggest change is perhap the most continuous one- which is never giving up. I try to stay positive & work towards making eachday better, learning from my mistakes, & making small changes each day. I switched to using natural chemical free Hair Dye,Natural skin care, detergents etc. It is the small changes that have culminated into the biggest difference in terms of the quality of my life.

As a new mom,I find it difficult to get my own time for keeping my cardio activity up. Besides my daily stroller outings with baby, I have switched to jumping rope for 15 minutes- its a great change to my daily routine- gets my energy up and makes me feel like a kid again. And it has the added bonus of satisfying my low budget needs at present.

I just thought of another one ;) I bought an exercise ball like the ones they have at the gym and I'm going to sit on it instead of a chair at work for better posture and also whenever I think of it, or waiting for something, I can do some stomach crunches. A few every day might make a difference.

The Simply Bar has made my not so simple switch to not only a completely vegan diet but one that also excludes gluten a little easier and much more enjoyable.I buy these bars in bulk from grocery stores and rave about them to all :)
